“We are facing a rather ambitious challenge that we take as a great opportunity to change and reflect in order to deploy our skills in order to have an enterprise consciousness that allows us to be responsible, strong and enthusiastic about the tomorrow we are creating together.”
CSO Holding Industriale

THE PLANET
We are aware that the actions of the fashion industry have huge impacts on the Planet, for this purpose we monitor and measure our current impacts while trying to predict future ones and aiming at an increasingly sustainable development.

HModa commitment
Our commitment to the Planet is aimed at preserving and protecting the global ecosystem for present and future generations, as well as taking action to improve the quality of the areas in which HModa companies operate.
As part of our Strategic Sustainability Plan, we dedicate significant attention to the environmental sphere. The plan encompasses five key macro-projects focusing on energy, the circular economy, reducing environmental impacts, minimizing waste, and developing a sustainable supply chain.
An integral part of our mission is to raise awareness of the environmental impacts of our activities, both at an individual and corporate level. We are therefore committed to educating and informing our people about the crucial role each of us plays in creating a sustainable corporate and global ecosystem.
We have always favored the use of sustainable and certified materials whenever possible. In 2022, we achieved an important milestone by recovering 71% of the total waste generated. By 2025, we aim to further increase the share of recovered waste through the implementation of dedicated projects and the responsible management of raw materials.

Rating ESG – climate change
Since 2021, HModa has assessed its environmental impact through the Climate Change Questionnaire for the textile sector, provided by the international organization Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), the non-profit organization that operates a global environmental disclosure system.
CDP assesses companies using an independent methodology, assigning them a score from A to D based on the completeness of the information provided, their awareness of environmental risks, and the progress made in addressing climate change.
In its first year of reporting, HModa achieved an average C score. This score reflects our strong corporate awareness of how environmental issues are intertwined with our business and how our operations affect people and ecosystems.
Our decision to participate in the CDP assessment system is driven by our commitment to increasing transparency around our environmental impact for all our stakeholders. We also aim to make environmental performance a key consideration in decisions regarding our business development and future investments.

Monitor for Circular Fashion
Since 2022, we have been partners of SDA Bocconi’s Monitor for Circular Fashion, a multi-stakeholder project that promotes the principles of the circular economy across companies within the fashion value chain, supporting sustainability and preventing greenwashing.
The project’s partners are virtuous organizations that, through the sharing of best practices, promote circularity within the fashion industry among the wider public and through international institutions such as UNECE.

PEOPLE
With more than 1.000 employees, one of the Group’s most important stakeholders is People.

Accademia HModa
Training is a fundamental value for us. Since 2020, we have been committed to providing specialized education in the fashion industry through Accademia HModa.
Accademia is entirely dedicated to the training and professional development of key figures essential to the high-fashion manufacturing sector.

Cross day
Cross Days give people across the Holding, coming from different companies and professional backgrounds but holding similar roles, a valuable opportunity to come together and share experiences and best practices. These events foster both individual and collective growth, enabling people to expand their knowledge and expertise.
The training sessions also aim to promote interaction and integration among the many members of the Group, creating meaningful connections. In turn, this contributes to the Group’s overall growth by encouraging the exchange of knowledge and fostering shared progress.

Paris Experience
In collaboration with the Institut Français de la Mode in Paris, each year 15 members of the Group have the opportunity to take part in a training program and enjoy an immersive experience in the heart of Paris. During the program, they visit leading fashion houses and gain deeper insights into the craftsmanship and strategies of the Parisian fashion system.
This experience serves as a recognition of the commitment of those within the Group who have made a significant contribution to creating added value through projects, relationships, innovative proposals, and other initiatives. At the same time, it offers participants the opportunity to discover new perspectives on high-fashion manufacturing and broaden their knowledge of the industry, as part of a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

HIVE Festival
Hive Festival is a unique event organized by Holding Industriale with the aim of fostering connection and cohesion while also providing opportunities for learning, knowledge sharing, and entertainment. The event brings together a variety of elements, including environmental awareness, social engagement, sports, music, and entertainment, and is designed to involve everyone across the Group.
During this special day, everyone at Holding Industriale has the opportunity to feel part of an extraordinary experience that goes beyond the daily routine, meet colleagues from across the Group, and build stronger connections, fostering a greater sense of unity and collective strength.

HIVE Days
Our values, mission, and objectives are at the heart of the Group. Hive Days are special days dedicated to communicating the Group’s identity to everyone at HModa. Their main goal is to create an environment for sharing and exchange, where everyone can feel an integral part of the organization.
During these events, HModa President Claudio Rovere visits the Group’s different companies to share the company’s identity and vision. These visits are also an opportunity to present new projects and encourage active participation in the life of the Group.
This approach fosters collaboration and encourages people to propose new initiatives, training events, and opportunities for entertainment, helping to create a dynamic and inclusive environment across the organization.

Ethics & Governance
“Courageous and determined people who work ethically to create projects that go beyond the ordinary and are agents of positive change in the local area, environment and society” Claudio Rovere – President of HModa and Holding Industriale

HPlanet
The HPlanet Sustainability Department, established in September 2021, represents a cross-functional and fully integrated center of excellence dedicated to promoting and advancing sustainability across HModa.
Its primary mission is to embed the principles of sustainable development across the strategy, culture, and operations of all Group companies. HPlanet is committed to actively engaging Group companies in collaboration and promoting ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) principles.
The department integrates the Holding’s core business pillars, translating them into sustainability pillars with the aim of taking concrete action to generate positive benefits for the Planet, People, and the organization itself.
HPlanet promotes a culture of sustainability by fostering a new way of thinking across the organization. This contributes to defining new sustainability-oriented business objectives designed to meet stakeholder expectations and reduce the environmental and social impact of Group companies, as well as across the entire supply chain.

ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
To respond to the growing challenges posed by the market in terms of innovation, together with an increasing demand for more sustainable process management, at the beginning of 2023 the HModa Group embarked on a journey aimed at continuously improving all aspects related to environmental protection, health, and safety.
To this end, HModa voluntarily implemented an Integrated Management System (IMS), adopting the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification standards and undergoing periodic assessments by an accredited certification body to identify opportunities for growth and development.
Innovation, training, collaboration, and mutual support among the Group’s companies have been identified as key strengths, leading to the achievement, in April 2024, of the integrated UNI ISO 45001:2018 and UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 certifications.
These achievements underline the importance that the HModa Group consistently places on environmental and workplace safety matters. Every day, we strive to ensure high standards of environmental and safety performance for our employees, customers, and all stakeholders, while continuously improving our overall performance.

Ethical code
HModa recognizes its responsibility towards the communities and territories in which it operates. For this reason, we have established and formalized the ethical principles that guide the way we conduct our business. We have developed an Ethical Code with the aim of clearly and transparently communicating the fundamental values that inspire our company and making them known to all stakeholders.
These values form the foundation of our corporate culture, and we expect everyone who has a relationship with HModa to uphold them. The Ethical Code sets out a framework of values, principles, and commitments that serves as a reference for our business conduct. The entire Group is committed to promoting the Code’s principles and reporting any behavior that is inconsistent with its provisions.
The Ethical Code provides clear guidance based on fundamental values such as confidentiality, effectiveness and efficiency, integrity, loyalty, fairness, and transparency, helping to establish the ethical guidelines that govern the companies belonging to the HModa Group.

Sustainability Report
Transparency is a fundamental value for both HModa and HPlanet. We firmly believe that measuring our performance is essential to achieving continuous improvement. In 2021, we voluntarily published our first GRI-referenced Sustainability Report. From the outset, we also embarked on a third-party review process, both to verify the data contained in the report and to identify potential areas for improvement in subsequent years.
We are very proud to have received the “Sustainability Awards Top 100” promoted by Credit Suisse and Kon after just one year of activity. Thanks also to the ESG rating awarded by Altis, we were recognized by Forbes among the 100 most sustainable companies in Italy across sectors.
These achievements demonstrate our commitment to sustainability and the tangible results we are achieving in this area.

Filiera HModa
The “Filiera HModa” project brings together a valuable and highly sought-after heritage: that of our workshops. The project was created to strengthen the quality of our collaborations with clients and stakeholders and to foster a stronger culture of sustainability across the supply chain.

The commitment of the Group companies
Each Group company is a unique entity that excels in its own sector, but shares a common commitment to sustainability. Each company is committed both to a sustainability path across ESG spheres and to a specific, tailored path for its own reality.
Diversity and inclusion are core values of our company and guiding principles that shape our organizational culture. Although women represent 60% of our workforce, we are aware that achieving gender equality requires concrete and ongoing commitment.
For this reason, we have embarked on a structured path to promote gender equality. Our approach focuses on six key areas:
