The evolution of the supply chain model is now complete: by 2025, the new governance model had resulted in more than 240 audits being conducted.

A proprietary rating system was also introduced, which places 86% of the suppliers evaluated in the highest reliability categories.

In the context of growing demand for transparency, traceability, and oversight along luxury value chains, HModa has made significant investments to refine its supply chain governance model. This evolution integrates risk management, data analysis, and operational oversight into a single industrial system using proprietary tools, transforming the supply chain into an active component of the growth strategy.

By 2025, the system had engaged 191 suppliers and led to the completion of over 240 audits of companies in the HModa Group’s supply chain. As part of this initiative, HModa has also introduced a proprietary four-tier rating system that provides an accurate snapshot of supplier reliability and confirms the overall strength of the production network: in fact, approximately 86% of the supply chain falls within the highest reliability tiers.

Claudio Rovere, founder and President of Hind, commented: “We have chosen to make a significant investment in building a new governance model for our supply chain, developing expertise, processes, and digital tools that enable us to manage the complexity of the supply chain in an increasingly integrated and data-driven manner. In a context where the luxury sector demands ever-higher levels of control along the value chain, the ability to guarantee both production quality and the continuity and reliability of processes becomes central. Our goal is to transform supply chain management into a strategic lever for creating value for the Group, for the manufacturing ecosystem, and for our customers. With this in mind, HModa goes beyond the traditional role of a manufacturer to establish itself as a long-term industrial partner and an integrated industrial platform serving luxury fashion houses.”

A governance model based on expertise, data, and risk management

The transformation implemented in 2025 marks the shift from an approach focused primarily on verifying supplier compliance to a supply chain governance system that treats the supply chain as an integral part of the Group’s business model.

The new approach is based on three key elements: a specialized internal “Team Filiera” with certified auditors who monitor the supply chain on an operational basis and manage follow-ups on any critical issues identified; a structured use of data as a tool to support business decisions; and a risk management model that allows monitoring activities and corrective actions to be directed according to operational priorities.

To ensure a consistent and objective process, HModa has developed a proprietary evaluation system based on standardized methodologies. Risk Assessment is at the heart of the model: by analyzing 15 evaluation areas—which incorporate industry and ESG indicators—it assigns each supplier a reliability index used to plan audit activities.

The system also includes a proprietary checklist with over 200 requirements covering the areas of work, health and safety, governance, the environment, and social responsibility, supplemented by a second checklist consisting of over 70 questions focused on operational traceability and the assessment of suppliers’ industrial structure.

On-site verifications are conducted through audits and dedicated improvement plans. Based on the evidence gathered, the Filiera Team coordinates the implementation of action plans, supports Group companies and suppliers in defining and implementing corrective actions, and monitors their progress until nonconformities are resolved, ensuring continuity and continuous improvement in supply chain performance.

Veronica Bovo, Chief Sustainability Officer, states: “The Group has developed a system capable of combining sustainability, quality, operational continuity, and transparency, with the goal of strengthening industrial resilience and responding in an increasingly structured manner to the expectations of customers and the market. The year 2025 marks a new beginning: for the first time, all Group companies are operating within a single, shared, and harmonized framework that enables a comprehensive view of the supply chain and proactive risk management.”

Supply Chain Rating System

To round out the monitoring system, HModa has introduced a supplier classification model based on four reliability levels, ranging from A (highest reliability) to C (critical area), with intermediate levels B and B* designated for situations of good reliability and ongoing monitoring.

The 2025 results show a strong concentration in the highest tiers of the system: 38% of audited suppliers are classified as Level A, 48% as Level B, 12% as Level B*, and 2% as Level C. Overall, approximately 86% of the supply chain falls into Levels A and B, confirming the supply chain’s high overall reliability.

Suppliers with lower ratings are subject to ongoing monitoring and improvement programs; if no adjustments are made, the partnership may be suspended or terminated. The information gathered fuels a continuous supply chain assessment process, supporting risk management and the expansion of digital traceability and support activities throughout the value chain.
