Rilievi was founded by eight embroiderers who decided to establish a small workshop dedicated to hand embroidery after completing a specialised master’s programme in the field. Rilievi’s aim is to bring revolutionary ideas to life, transforming embroidery from a simple craft into an art form.
Founded in 1991, Rilievi, as part of the Italian craftsmanship tradition, has successfully combined tradition and innovation to create unique designs. Over time, the company has developed a solid corporate structure, systematising its management processes and training new embroiderers.
In the early 1990s, Rilievi began its first collaborations with manufacturing companies in India, which later led to the direct management of a factory in Mumbai.
After 30 years of experience, Rilievi’s creations can be seen on runways and red carpets around the world.
In 2022, Rilievi became part of HModa Group.
