HModa (Holding Moda), an industrial platform investing in luxury-sector excellence, has reached a new milestone in its development with the opening of HModa 126, its first interdisciplinary space in France. The inauguration of this emblematic space in Paris (Aubervilliers) marks a key step in the group’s strategy: to firmly establish its industrial and collaborative model in the French market, three years after the launch of the HModa Showroom & Lab in Paris, in the heart of the Marais district.

HModa in France: rolling out an ambitious and responsible industrial strategy

With HModa 126, the group is deploying in France an ambitious strategy aimed at structuring a high-quality manufacturing network, modelled on the approach that has already underpinned its success in Italy. This new presence marks a decisive step in building a Franco-Italian alliance with an integrated and sustainable value chain, spanning apparel, leather goods, footwear and textiles.

HModa plans to implement a targeted investment strategy in French industrial SMEs operating in the luxury sector. True to its model, the group does not fully integrate companies but instead ensures they retain autonomy, identity and strong local roots. Each investment seeks to preserve and pass on know-how, support local employment, and accelerate both environmental and generational transitions. The objective is to build in France, as in Italy, a structured, independent and high-value industrial ecosystem of excellence

This project is built around key values:
• Supporting industry through sustainable, targeted investments;
• Preserving entrepreneurial identity;
• Promoting innovation and sustainability through R&D, ESG transition and digitalisation projects;
• Creating opportunities for skilled employment, particularly for young people, by training the talents of tomorrow;
• Showcasing French know-how by connecting it to a European value chain.

« We are eager to work with French SMEs to create a true hub of luxury excellence that matches our ambitions in France », says Claudio Rovere, Founder and President of HModa.

HModa 126: turning Aubervilliers into a strategic hub for innovation, craftsmanship and training in the luxury sector

HModa 126 brings together in one place a leather goods prototyping workshop, an R&D centre, a showroom and a training hub operated by Accademia HModa France. This space is designed to foster encounters between traditional craftsmanship, technological innovation and intergenerational knowledge transfer.

The showroom will notably present new creations from co-LAB, a collaborative project launched in 2024 – now in its third edition in France – that highlights the complementary expertise of the group’s 19 companies through high-end garments produced collectively. This edition will unveil a collection built around the theme of leather.

Located just outside Paris, at the heart of a rapidly transforming area, Aubervilliers is emerging as a key luxury centre in the Île-de-France region, alongside several renowned manufacturers.

The decision to establish HModa 126 here reflects the group’s ambition to anchor itself within a dynamic ecosystem and contribute to the development of the luxury value chain in Seine-Saint- Denis, a dynamic industrial and creative district just north of Paris.

« The inauguration of HModa 126 reflects our ambition to create a space where innovation, craftsmanship and training come together to shape the future of the luxury industry. This hub symbolises our long-term commitment to supporting French talents and manufacturers », says Claudio Rovere, President and Founder of HModa.

Under a Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Department of Seine-Saint-Denis, HModa and Accademia HModa France have committed to opening their training programmes to young people in the area, helping them access careers in the luxury sector, supporting their professional integration and strengthening their skills.

HModa: building a Franco-Italian industrial and cultural alliance in the luxury sector

Beyond its industrial dimension, HModa’s work is guided by a broader vision: fostering an alliance between two complementary luxury cultures. France and Italy share a unique manufacturing heritage built on creativity, artisanal mastery and the transmission of craft skills.

Preserving this balance between innovation and tradition, between local excellence and global competitiveness, lies at the heart of HModa’s mission.

This approach aligns with the spirit of the Quirinal Treaty, signed in 2021, which encourages economic, industrial and cultural cooperation between the two countries. By combining French creativity with Italian artisanal excellence, HModa aims to build a European industrial model for luxury based on three pillars: innovation, sustainability and knowledge transmission – serving responsible and shared growth.
