The recognition consolidates the Group's commitment to more equitable and participatory work environments, supporting an increasingly responsible approach to corporate culture and structure.
An important step forward on HModa's path of sustainability and people empowerment, which will be enriched with new initiatives on training, internal listening and organizational well-being.
As part of its ESG and sustainable development path, HModa (Holding Moda) announces the achievement by the parent company and ten Group companies of the Certification for Gender Equality (UNI/PDR 125:2022), a recognition that attests to the concrete commitment to gender equality and the enhancement of human capital.
An achievement that involves more than 800 employees in the first 10 certified companies, demonstrating the scope and organizational relevance of the path undertaken. The certification – introduced at the regulatory level at the end of 2022 – is the result of a strategy that HModa adopted well before it was formalized at the practice level, and today represents an important stage in a commitment destined to continue and extend to the Group’s other companies.
Launched in 2023, the certification journey covered an in-depth assessment of six areas: culture and strategy, governance, HR processes, growth opportunities, pay equity, and work-life balance. Compared to an initial average of 30-40 percent of KPIs met, today all certified companies exceed 60 percent, with some reaching peaks of 80-90 percent, against assessment criteria made progressively more stringent between 2023 and 2025.
Veronica Bovo, Chief Sustainability Officer, and Fabio Longo, Chief People Officer, say: “We chose to undertake this path because it is deeply rooted in our corporate values. We believe that proper diversity management is a driver of innovation, and that corporate culture is built around people development, following the principles of respect and collaboration. The Gender Equality certification is not an end point for us, but a tool to measure progress and continue to improve”.
The journey toward full equality does not end with certification. All Group companies, including those not yet within the scope of certification, are in fact developing initiatives to consolidate and deepen the commitment, including training courses aimed particularly at those involved in the selection and management of human resources. Listening, support and assistance services are also being developed on the ground, geared toward inclusiveness and collective well-being.
Claudio Rovere, President and Founder of Hind, underlines: “This achievement confirms the centrality of people in HModa’s vision and is part of a broader journey to build a conscious, responsible and sustainable supply chain. Investing in gender equality also means investing in the quality of professional relationships and the ability of our companies to meet the challenges of the future”.
The certification adds to the Group’s more than 40 active projects in the areas of environment, circularity, supply chain traceability and training, consolidating HModa’s role as an industrial platform serving the excellence of Made in Italy fashion and manufacturing.
