SHOULDER BAG WITH STUD EMBROIDERY
GAB
Leather Goods
The shoulder bag was developed by GAB using DEMA’s Casentino-effect leather. This material is produced through mechanical carding and brushing, creating a short, regular, compact nap to the surface that gives a soft, three-dimensional appearance reminiscent of traditional Casentino cloth, while preserving the structure and flexibility of full-grain leather.
After cutting and internal preparation, the panels are sent to PUNTOART, where full-field micro-stud embroidery is applied using high-precision machine embroidery techniques. The studs are evenly distributed, creating a diffused luminous effect and enhancing the leather’s tactile texture.
The panels then return to GAB for final assembly, finishing, and hardware insertion, ensuring clean lines and refined detailing.
The result is a sophisticated, contemporary accessory in which the visual softness of Casentino-effect leather interacts with the subtle shine of metallic details, creating a harmonious synthesis of craftsmanship, material research, and aesthetic experimentation.
