MEN’S BOAT LOAFER WITH CASENTINO-EFFECT LEATHER

The Men’s Boat Loafer is developed by DEMA, a company within the group specialized in high-quality artisanal footwear.

The upper is made from DEMA’s Casentino-effect research leather, produced through mechanical brushing and carding to create a uniform, compact nap. This gives the leather a warm, volumetric, textile-like appearance while retaining the softness and durability of full-grain leather.

The pattern and shoe last are entirely developed by DEMA, following a flexible and lightweight construction consistent with the aesthetic of the classic boat shoe. The moc-toe and laces are crafted in research nappa leather by GAB, selected for their tactile and visual contrast with the Casentino-effect base.

Artisanal construction includes hand-stitching with thick thread and functional details such as side lace loops, preserving the identity of the boat shoe while enhancing it with contemporary materiality.

The result is a shoe that blends tradition and experimentation, where material research and manufacturing precision converge into an essential and sophisticated object.
