SHORT CASHMERE DRESS WITH HAND WEAVING

The “Short Cashmere Dress” embodies the perfect harmony of textile research, craftsmanship, and contemporary design, developed through the collaboration of MANRICO, GAB, and RILIEVI. The project expresses the synergy between fine knitwear excellence and artisanal leather craftsmanship.

Made from 100% super cashmere 3/120, the dress is knitted in interlock with 18-gauge fineness, producing a soft, compact, and lightweight hand, while ensuring comfort and an impeccable fit.

Leather tape details are applied around the armholes, crafted by GAB, which selects premium calf leathers and processes them with extreme precision. The tapes, folded onto themselves to maintain a constant thickness of 0.3 cm, ensure clean and perfectly finished edges.

These elements are then hand-woven by RILIEVI, braided as if they were knitting yarn, and applied tone-on-tone along the garment edges, giving the piece a sophisticated, textured effect.

The dress is the result of synergistic collaboration between the group’s companies: MANRICO’s fine knitwear, GAB’s technical precision, and RILIEVI’s artisanal skill come together in a garment that merges softness, elegance, and craftsmanship.
