BODY WITH MIGNON WEAVE

The “Body with Mignon Weave” is a project developed by UNO MAGLIA in collaboration with RILIEVI and ALEX&Co., reflecting the supply chain’s ability to integrate different materials into a harmonious balance of form and function.

Made of elastic technical jersey, the body is designed to ensure comfort, adherence, and clean lines, enhancing the feminine silhouette. The model features a high neckline and shirt-style cuffs, emphasizing its tailored character.

A distinctive feature is the rear cut-out, where a hand-woven panel by RILIEVI is inserted, made from 0.3 cm mignon leather supplied and prepared by ALEX&Co.

The weave, inspired by Viennese straw, is custom-made according to UNO MAGLIA’s pattern and integrated with precision into the garment, ensuring a clean, invisible connection between jersey and leather.

The result is a technical and refined body, where the fluid softness of jersey meets the three-dimensional, structured graphic of woven leather, creating a sophisticated, contemporary material contrast.
