Description + -

This women’s slipper is developed by MIRIAL using DEMA’s Casentino-effect leather, obtained through mechanical brushing and carding. This process produces a thin, uniform nap that gives the leather a soft, voluminous, almost textile appearance, consistent with the aesthetics of traditional Casentino cloth.

After pattern development and upper preparation, the panels are sent to PUNTOART for full-field micro-stud embroidery arranged in a calibrated, regular rhythm. The application, executed using high-precision machine embroidery techniques, creates a diffused luminous effect that highlights the leather’s three-dimensional texture.

Once the decoration process is completed, uppers return to MIRIAL for handcrafted assembly and manual shoe construction. The lining and insole are made from selected nappa leather by GAB, chosen for their softness and tactile quality.

The result is a lightweight, comfortable, and refined shoe, in which the tactile Casentino-effect leather meets the discreet brilliance of micro-studs, achieving a sophisticated balance between aesthetic experimentation and artisanal craftsmanship.
